Our Beautiful, Historic House
Alpha Phi has been a housed chapter at UT since our founding in 1920. Our original house was located on Rio Grande near Hardin House. Our current home, at 2005 University Avenue, was built in 1934 and was the first building on the UT campus to be built specifically as a sorority house. The original structure housed 22 women, but after several renovations, we can now accommodate 45 lucky girls.
The Alpha Phi house is located across the street from Littlefield Fountain and the South Mall, in the heart of the UT campus. Our stone wall, balconies, and courtyard give the house a New Orleans flavor. A sun deck on the third floor provides an escape for sisters who want to study, hangout or just catch some of those wonderful Texas rays.
While our house is historic, it is also high tech, offering multiple high-speed Internet connections in every room. Meal plans, TV rooms and beautiful common sitting areas make the Alpha Phi house one of the best places to live on the UT campus.
On top of all that, our new house mom is amazing! Meet her now >>
